At the request of a Big 4 audit firm based outside Cyprus, we provided advice for their client, in relation to IP licensing and payment processing activities offered by a Cyprus company. The subject matter was the analysis of the nature of the transactions based on the Cyprus VAT Law and the respective VAT treatment, the place of supply, the applicable VAT rate and the obligations raised.
