Cypriot Parliament voted the amendments to the existing Cypriot Law on Administrative Cooperation in the field of Taxation (Law 205(I)/2012) as the “Law”, to encompass the provisions of the Directive 2018/822/EU on mandatory automatic exchange of information in the field of taxation in relation to reportable cross-border arrangements (DAC6).

The Law will be supplemented with more detailed and explanatory secondary legislation that will provide additional guidance on the practical applications of the Law.
