The Cyprus Tax Department informed the public that, based on Ministerial Decree Council dated 9 June 2023, the submission of Income Tax declaration for individuals for the fiscal year 2022 is extended until October 2, 2023.
The personal Income Tax declaration for 2022 has not as yet been uploaded to TAXISnet system for submission, in view of the approval by the House of Representatives amending legislation which governs the exemption of remuneration from first employment in the Republic with effect from the fiscal year 2022.
Once the amending legislation is passed and published, the Cyprus Tax Department will make all necessary changes to the 2022 Income Tax Declaration for individuals and will inform users to start submitting the Declaration.
Individuals with gross income below the amount of EUR 19.500 are exempted from the submission of personal Income Tax declaration for the tax year of 2022.
