We assisted a pharmaceutical sector company in defending against a cross-border tax investigation initiated by the Polish tax authorities concerning a structure involving a Cyprus company. Collaborating closely with the client's Polish Big Four tax advisors, we developed and implemented a strategic response to address the investigation in order to protect the client against significant adverse tax implications. Our coordinated efforts and deep expertise in international tax law ensured a robust defense, aiming to protect the client's interests and navigate the complexities of cross-border tax regulations, during the ongoing negotiations with one of the most challenging tax authorities.
