Our firm conducted a comprehensive legal analysis to determine whether a Cyprus-based company ("CyCO") is subject to licensing requirements under the Betting Law of 2019, considering its activities. Our analysis was made in relation to the following laws:
i. The Law Providing for the Regulation of Betting and Related Matters of 2019 (as amended from time time) No.37(I)/2019 (the “Betting Law”);
ii. The Law on Betting Houses, Gaming Houses and Prevention of Gambling (Cap. 151);
iii. The Law on the Establishment, Operation, Activity, Supervision and Control of Casinos (No 124(I)/2015);
iv. The Lotteries Law (Cap. 74).
