Kinanis LLC advised two Cypriot entrepreneurs on the protection of intellectual property (IP) rights for their e-learning program. Our work focused on implementing strong legal and structural safeguards to secure ownership and control of the IP, including the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). We also drafted an IP contribution agreement and secured a tax ruling confirming, among other things, the joint ownership of the IP. Additionally, we provided advice on corporate law matters and addressed copyright and trademark considerations under Cyprus law.
