Extension of the deadline for the electronic submission of the Income Tax Return

Further to the Decree issued by the Minister of Finance on 5th of June 2020, the Cyprus Tax Department has announced on the 16th of June 2020 the extension of the deadline for the electronic submission of the Income Tax Return for the fiscal year 2019 to 30^th of October 2020 for:

salaried employees and pensioners, and
self-employed persons whose turnover does not exceed the amount of €70.000 and do not have the obligation to prepare audited financial statements

It also is noted that the deadline for the payment of the final income tax liability for the fiscal year 2019 for the above persons is also extended to 30th of October 2020.
