LAWYER – PROPERTY/MIGRATION DEPARTMENT

We are a Law Firm based in Nicosia with 40 years of experience, seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of lawyer at our property and migration department.

 

The candidate must fulfill the following qualifications:


Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience;
  • Experience in immovable property transactions and procedures of the lands department;
  • Experience with the Civil Registry and Migration department;
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken);
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office programs, including Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to meet tight deadlines, multitask and work in a challenging work environment;
  • Teamwork-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To be appointed and work as a lawyer at the property department;
  • Monitoring of ongoing cases
  • Drafting and/or reviewing sale agreements, management and/or rental agreements, power of attorneys and any other legal documents;
  • Having ongoing communication with clients, banks, and other relevant authorities;
  • Liaising with Land Registry Office, Civil Registry and Migration department and other Authorities;
  • Handling of cases on behalf of client before Land Registry Offices in all districts.

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with half hour break and Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. Subject to particular cases or needs, extra hours of work might be needed.

We provide 30 minutes flexibility for late arrival that can be covered the same day.

Working from home may be allowed for limited days per week subject to supervisor’s approval.
